Find answers to common questions about using Asaka for location sharing.
Sign in with your Google account, click "Share My Location" on the homepage, and grant permission to access your location. You'll receive a shareable link and QR code that you can send to anyone.
Sign in and select "Ask for Location". Share the generated link with the person whose location you need. When they open the link and share their location, you'll be able to see it on your dashboard.
By default, links expire after 5 days. You can set a custom expiration date or choose "never expire" when creating a location. You can also delete links manually at any time from your dashboard.
Yes! Go to your dashboard and click the delete button on any location you've created. This will immediately invalidate the link, and no one will be able to access that location anymore.
Your location is only accessible through the specific link you share. We don't share your data with third parties, and you can delete your locations at any time. All data is transmitted securely over HTTPS.
You can open shared locations in Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, or OpenStreetMap. The map view will show buttons for each available app, making it easy to get directions.
No! Anyone with the link can view the shared location without signing in. An account is only needed to create and manage location shares, or to access business features.

You can delete your account from your Profile Settings page. This will permanently remove all your data including locations, business profiles, and associated images. See our data deletion page for detailed instructions.
